This year we're making a special guided visit to the newly restored addition to VMF's Volcan Mountain Nature Center. We will share the results from VMF's recently completed forest management plan as well as exciting developments in state and federal funding enabling us to implement these improvements to forest health and wildfire resilience. You will have an opportunity to explore portions of this beautiful water-fed addition to VMF's education platform. During the day we'll also enjoy an al fresco lunch near a year-round tree-line pond.

Location: North end of Farmer Road, 5 miles from Julian.
