Calling All Artists for Autumn Art on the Mountain

Calling all artists! Come capture Volcan Mountain in all its autumn glory. The Volcan Mountain Foundation’s ‘Art on the Mountain’ events series continues on Saturday, October 20th, 2012 with a morning painting and afternoon photography adventure and potluck lunch in between. (If your interest lies in another medium, please let us know!)
Artists participating in this free event will get to go ‘behind the scenes’ and visit rarely accessed areas of Volcan Mountain including the spectacular ridgeline area with its astounding east and west vistas. Carpools/caravans will gather at VMF’s Gateway Nature Education Center (not the Hubbell Gateway) at the very end of Farmer Road for the morning and afternoon groups and continue up to the ridgeline/summit area. All will gather for potluck lunch at VMF’s upper Sky Island Trail property.
Interested artists should contact VMF’s Education Coordinator and fellow artist, Kathleen Beck before Thursday, October 18th, for information on when and where to meet, and details on the group lunch.
