Meadow Restoration at Santa Ysabel East-Sunday, September 27th at 10am

Sunday, September 27th join San Diego County Parks Rangers in working to return the Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve (East) to a pristine native meadow. Learn why certain plants need to be removed and what will grow in their place! We will be removing black and Sahara mustards, thistles, goats head, and medusa head grasses.
Meet at 10am at the SYOSP Farmer Road staging area for a short hike to the work location. Dress in layers and wear appropriate shoes. Bring a hat, and sunscreen. Tools, gloves, light snacks and water will be provided. Temperatures over 90 or inclement weather will cancel event.
