This Saturday, December 12th, please consider joining one of our partner organizations, the San Diego River Park Foundation, from 10am-2pm for a native tree and shrub planting event in San Diego's Backcountry!

Support vital restoration efforts of the San Diego River Park Foundation in the headwaters of the San Diego River by helping to plant shrubs and trees at Boulder Creek Preserve outside of Descanso, CA.

Our goal is to restore the Boulder Creek Preserve site, improve the health of the wildlife and aquatic ecosystem and to have fun! This is a family friendly event so feel free to bring the whole crew.

No experience necessary! All tools and supplies will be provided. Please bring at least 32 oz of water and a snack. We also recommend wearing layers and long pants. Please wear closed-toed shoes—no sandals for safety reasons. Community service hours can be verified.

For more information and to RSVP, please call (619) 297-7380 or email volunteer@sandiegoriver.org.
