
Sunset Hike and Amateur Astronomy Hike at Santa Ysabel Preserve West, Saturday, September 19th at 6pm

Saturday, September 19th at 6pm join San Diego County Park Attendant Bill Augustus for a short 1.5 mile hike and a night viewing of the skies above the Santa Ysabel West Preserve. Don't miss this special opportunity to explore the preserve after sunset and test your knowledge of the planets and constellations on a moonless night.
Meet at the parking/staging area located 1 mile west of Santa Ysabel, across from 29313 Highway 78, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070. Please bring a flash light, warm clothing and a jacket as the temperature will drop after sunset, and bring binoculars or a telescope if you have them. All astronomy skill levels are welcome!
