Sunday, June 4th, local author Angie Brenner is donating her time to lead you on a Turkish journey through a 'hands-on' cooking class at Mom's Pie House in Wynola, courtesy of Anita Nichols. You'll prepare meze (appetizers) and bread recipes from Angie's and Joy Stocke's newly-released cookbook, Anatolian Kitchen: Tree of Life. Then you'll share the dishes you prepared - Turkish Style - in the beautiful garden under the shade of trees and surrounded by rose and lavender bushes.  Angie has traveled throughout Turkey for over twenty-five years and shared her experiences in her travel memoir, Anatolian Days and Nights: A Love Affair with Turkey, which she co-authored with Joy Stocke. It's guaranteed to be a sumptuous culinary treat! (Date may be subject to change). Available for 20 participants at $55 per person.
Instructor: Cookbook author, Angie Brenner
When: Sunday, June 4th 2pm to 4pm-ish
Where: Mom's Pie House in Wynola; 4510 Highway 78, Julian, CA 92036
