Wildcrafting: Sage Wreaths & Smudge Sticks, Sunday, June 26th, 2016

Sunday, June 26th come learn the art of wildcrafting at the Volcan Mountain Foundation’s Volcan Mountain Nature Center at the headwaters of Santa Ysabel Creek in Julian. June's wildcrafting event, focused on sage, will be at the Nature Center's beautiful Outdoor Classroom.

Volunteer Wildcrafter Marcee Wheaton will share her knowledge on how to make a beautiful and aromatic 12" sage wreath from local white sage and grape vines. VMF Education Coordinator Janice Smith will relate stories and information about this wonderful and versatile plant and how to make smudge sticks.

From 10am-1pm. Activity fee is $20 and covers all supplies needed. Click here to register.
