Volcan Mountain Foundation

Everyone is invited to kick off the Volcan Mountain Foundation's 25th Anniversary Founders' Day Celebration with a morning hike on Sunday, October 13th on Volcan Mountain led by long-time docent, Sally Snipes.  Meet at 10am at the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve-Hubbell Gateway trail head on Farmer Road.  Bring water, wear sturdy shoes, and be prepared for a good uphill hike.

10-11-13 Update:  The Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve is closed at least through this weekend due to Wednesday's tragic small plane crash on Volcan Mountain.  Sally will still meet hikers at the parking area for the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve, and then the group will drive a mile down the road to the Santa Ysabel Preserve-East trailhead for the hike.
