Volcan Mountain Wildflower Hike-Saturday, May 11th, 10am

Spring is the time to see the backcountry in bloom! Saturday, May 11th at 10am, join county rangers as they take you on a guided wildflower hike of Volcan Mountain. Park along the side of the road at the Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve trailhead (located next to 1209 Farmer Road) and walk a short distance to the impressive Hubbell Gateway. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, weather appropriate clothing (even on a nice day, it can get windy up top), a hat, and always bring water.
