Sunday, May 31- If you’ve ever wondered what that bright yellow bird is, who's singing that beautiful song, or what made those rows of little holes in a tree, then join Sharyl Massey, VMF's Conservation Chair Board Member, for an introductory presentation about birds and bird identification. She will also cover a variety of ways to observe birds, including physical characteristics, behaviors and their habitats.
Sunday, May 24: Join us for a relaxing and restorative day immersed in the beauty of nature in spring. We will gather beneath towering trees beside our peaceful pond for a unique wildcrafted wellness experience that blends herbal self-care, nature connection, creativity, and play.
We’ll begin with tea and a gentle arrival before wandering to the pond for quiet reflection and time to experience the sights, sounds, warmth, and renewal of spring. Afterward, we’ll gather seasonal plants such as horsetail, mugwort, plantain, and cattail and learn about their uses.
